I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness. Holistic health is about getting to the root cause of a health issue rather than covering up symptoms with pharmaceutical drugs or other quick fixes. When we mask the symptoms and take a quick fix approach, the root problem is never resolved and true healing doesn't occur.
Amazingly our bodies can heal themselves when given the right tools like proper nutrition, exercise, supplements, appropriate sleep and reduced stress, and when we give our body the time it needs to heal. I think many of us forget about how powerful the human body really is. It took me over a decade to come to this realization and that's when my body was able to finally heal itself from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
My training, education and personal health challenges have provided me with a deep understanding and appreciation for taking an individualized holistic approach with my clients.
